Overview

ClaimJet ("the App") is developed by Sifu Song. The App is designed as a local-first travel claims assistant. Your case data, evidence photos, text notes, and generated PDFs are stored on your device. We do not operate backend servers that receive your travel documents, claim details, or personal information.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store on remote servers:

  1. Flight details, case information, or claim content you enter
  2. Photos, boarding passes, receipts, or other evidence you capture or import
  3. Generated claim letters or exported PDF packets
  4. Contact lists, precise location data, or browsing history

All case management, evidence storage, PDF generation, and rights handbook content are processed locally on your device.

Local Storage

Case data is stored in the App's local database (SQLite) within the app sandbox. Evidence files (photos and text notes) are saved to your device's private documents folder. Exported PDFs are saved to locations you choose via the system share sheet (email, Files app, cloud storage, etc.).

Important: Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored cases and evidence. We strongly recommend exporting PDF claim packets regularly as your personal backup.

No Account Required

ClaimJet does not require registration, login, or an online account. There is no user profile stored on our servers because we do not operate user-facing backend services for the App.

In-App Purchases

Lifetime unlock purchases are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase receipts are validated by the respective platform; only unlock status is stored locally on your device to enable premium features.

Third-Party Sharing

When you tap Share or Export, the App uses the system share sheet. Any data you share is transmitted directly by your device to the app or service you select — not through our servers. Please review the privacy practices of email providers, cloud storage services, or airlines you share documents with.

Rights Handbook Content

The offline Rights Handbook contains bundled reference information about passenger rights (e.g., EU261, MC99). This content is shipped with the App and does not require network access. It is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
